Spain had 2 glorious chances to go ahead before that happened. That old story about not taking your chances !

I was just thinking how much I enjoyed her insight on the serious Sky debate show whose name I've forgotten and I've got to be honest I'm not enjoying her anywhere near as much as a co-commentator.

Spain a shadow of the side they were a few years ago. Busquets still a class act though.

Agreed, she comes across as a know all and her thick accent does my head in.

I wonder if changing half the back 4 has contributed to conceding the two goals.

What a thriller this match has been. Apart from a period after the shock o,g. Spain have played with pace and zip, doing unspanish things like hitting long passes to wide runners who then whip over crosses for a header. They were playing so well there was a danger Morato might score. But from 3-1 down with less than 10 mins to play Croatia rallied, led by the little maestro Modric. We could be heading for the first penalty shoot out which will give the Spanish keeper a chance to be redeemed.

Bit of a niche reference this one but the ref reminds of the wee baldy guy in Dune on the Amiga. No idea how accurate it is though as I've not played that in about 20 odd years.
