wonder if there is a coincidence in this coming after the new announcement. Was costing raith more than a pretty penny in loan fee 50% wages and additional travel expenses etc

not from what PG has said re money, and the announcement yesterday re-emphasised that investment coming in etc was not for playing staff.

But it will free up money that can now be spent on the squad.

Not really seen him play, but I know John Robertson rated him highly.

Anyone not familiar with Kai Kennedy`s work, there`s a few highlights packages on YouTube showing some real talent during Rangers, Scotland, ICT and Raith games.

Top signing!

Delay was purely down to permanent transfer interest from elsewhere. Nothing to do with yesterday`s announcement.

He looks fast, skillful, hard working, unselfish, good on the wing and not afraid to cut inside. Could be the new Adam Hammill.

Welcome to East End Park.

Watching a few of the Raith games last season he stood out with his fast attacking running style taking on players and playing others through and crosses into the box. I was worried he was going to give us a doing as our defense wasn`t that great to start with. When the first derby game came up he was silenced out of the game.

He is going to be a stand out this season and not surprising that he had interest from down south. He will be seen as a key rangers player next season 100% sure of that.

Welcome to the pars Kai

Have a good feeling about this signing. Looks like he could go onto big things.
On another note, Rhys Breen commented in his status with "See you soon" so assuming that he will be announced imminently as well.

Awight Pat!

PG is installing confidence from me ,I enjoy his interviews and aspects as to how the game should be played.PG coming to EEP Gives him a bigger range of players ,I like what I see and hear so far .
Dont get me wrong I was a 100% backer of SC as I had respect for the man but i feel this is a new way forward .
PG has me kicking every ball :):)

Saw Peter grant as a player a few times…

my only memory of him was turning to another Celtic player, who’d passed him the ball in front of him and he couldn’t catch it and shouting, “I’m not a feckin whippet!”

Made me laugh at the time and have always remembered it for some reason

I had to laugh when the interviewer spoke of the Pars fans getting behind the team. They boo if a flake of pastry falls off their bridie ffs.

`is your first goal to reach the next round of the cup?)
` no, my first goal is to get a decent biscuit with my cup of tea`.

Some quality questions there lol.

The trouble was DBP that PG didn`t think any of his team mates at Celtic, were whippets either so he chose to play the square ball or backward pass. But at least he helped retain possession if not starting any attacks. The early signs are though that he has more attacking ambition as a manager.

Peter Grant`s job was to give the ball to Paul Mcstay pure and simple.
But there was more to his game than that really.
He had a very good football brain, not just a grafter. He was the perfect foil for Mcstay.
Billy Mcneil wouldn`t have played him if he was just a midfield clogger.
