Clubs now have permission from the Scottish Government to admit 2,000 fans for home games. They need to apply to their local authority for any increase above that figure. Do we know at this stage how our board plan to deal with this situation for the new league playing season? Will season ticket holders be given priority? Has any approach been made to Fife Council to discuss the matter? What about away fans?

Saturday 7th August, first league home game v Partick Thistle. Do I just turn up with my season ticket and expect to get my seat or do I have to apply for an entry ticket?

I would suspect that by then over 2000 season tickets will be sold, hopefully the club will seek permission for over 2000 for the first home game. The second home game restrictions should be lifted so no problems.

Hopefully the club ask and get around 4500 tickets to sell which would allow fans of both clubs to attend

If there is still a 2000 limit for the Partick game then there will obviously be a ballot and any season ticket holders who miss out they will just have to watch from home

I hope an early announcement will be made about this matter. Do we know how many season tickets have now been sold? Does this indicate that season tickets holders will have to apply for tickets to gain admission and reserve seats?

Thanks guys, I suppose we just have to wait and see what transpires. I reckon there will be a big demand for the game.

All becoming a right faff all this nonsense. Home fans only, open all the stands and social distance, surely that’s an option?

If there is under 2000 season tickets sold surely all season ticket holders should be getting in. Considering they have already paid upfront. Season ticket holders shouldn’t have to reserve a seat after already giving the club money. What a sham!

Yes indeed, and even if we end up above 2000 it won’t be by much so let them all in.

Can’t open the Cowdenbeath end as that’s where the away team get changed etc so as long as that’s the case that stand can’t be opened. Would like to see the whole of the North West opened though.
ST holders will get priority and rightly so.
Is it not the case that from early/mid August restrictions are to be further lifted thus allowing more fans in?

Good shout parsloyal, forgot about the away team, another farcical episode that happens, as is when the ball goes in the stand don’t throw it on the pitch, fire it to the ball boys….ffs.
Think the restrictions are meant to be lifted for the Monday after the Partick game but not sure what the conditions will be.

The North East could be used, I wonder if any of the Cowden end could be open with a division for the away team.

If wee applied to have our crowd raised to 3500 we could cater for our season ticket holders (about 2000), 1000 walk up fans and 500 away fans.

We are still waiting to hear about arrangements for our first home league game of the season. After that we will have to wait on the Scottish Government.

I would doubt it Ladswell, as PARS207 says think it’s too early with the Scottish Government making an announcement on the Monday after.

Will be much to do with local councils as well, I see Hibs are getting 2k at Motherwell this Saturday.
Sure that dump in Greenock could take 500 away fans with social distancing no probs.
