I'm feeling surprisingly positive, but pride comes before a fall! A lot of people seem to be suggesting we'll take it but time will tell. I've not paid enough attention to the likes of ICT, Killie or the wee team to make a call. I like what I'm seeing from us though. We've not really been tested yet.

To be honest 8/ 1 looks very good odds for us to win the title, we have every chance
Where do I get the vaccination?

I reckon we are worth a few quid on at 8/1
Can’t wait for the league season to start. I think I’m a Peter Grant “believer”.

Early signs are promising, PG building the squad was crucial and was never going to be done within 2 weeks of him being here, anyone with half a brain knew it was going to be done slowly and at the rite time, not just sign anyone to make the numbers up.
For me I think we will be a real force against anyone at EEP, but we will need pick up more points away from home which we will be more than capable of doing am sure.
Hopefully a few early away results to get rid of the "form" from last season get that put to bed so to speak.
With the squad being as it is, take out the younger ones and every other player could put down a bloody good case for being in the starting 11 imho, PG is going to have some big calls to make on team selections but as he has said, when he is making a sub he wont be weakening the quality or effort thats on the park thats gonna be a big one for us.

When I got my first jag it was painless. However for my second jag I got a squaddie who had to ask how to do the jag, the nurse told him what to do. I thought that only medically qualified were allowed to do the injecting. To be fair to him he didn't hurt me either.

The Fifer vaccination is now single dose. You shouldn't need a second one.

Apart from the first year it’s not normally tight for top spot , since the Championship began the points difference between the champions and runners up have been 2, 21, 11, 11, 12, 6, 14 and 12.
This is more than likely due to one of the big boys finding themselves dumped into the championship and throwing money at their escape route. I think this season could be one of the closest on record between the top 2 or 3 as IMO a much more level playing field. Hopefully DAFC will be top of the pile this season , I’d be ecstatic finishing with a +1 goal advantage over the second placed team but not sure my nerves could take that. I’m certainly optimistic with the happenings at East End and my wager at 8/1 is on COYP

Aye, for the past 7 seasons at least one of Hearts, Hibs, Dundee Utd and Sevco have been in the division.
This season there's no real big club.

Think you`d better stick your neck back in Parrot. (Owls can do that I think but maybe not parrots). Having us win the league before the first game is never good psychology.

Let`s look at the facts. We`ve scored heavily against the average teams in the group but the one decent team beat us. So let`s not get ahead of ourselves yet.
We have a threadbare squad where a couple of injuries will have us struggling to half fill a bench. Hopefully we make a few more shrewd signings to bulk us up and truly make us a reasonable force to be reckoned with.
We need the limited amount of fans to get behind the team and not boo the players the first time a pass goes slightly askew (we are Dunfermline, not feckin Man City).
It`s always a rock solid league and this year is no different. Everybody can beat everybody. We can win the league but just as easily finish 7th.
I like the way Grant talks and so far seems to have more than just a plan A. We`ll be up there with as good a chance as any other team. I`m a natural born pessimist so I`ll be hoping to at least reach the play offs again, but winning the league will be a tall order.
Please though, will the fans get behind the team and stop the booing and derision. If we play bad, encourage the team, shout to them telling them to keep the heads up and keep trying. None of this `I pay my money, I`ll boo if I want` nonsense. Its completely ineffective, doesn`t help the team and frankly, it makes you look a bit simple in the head.
PLAYERS NEED ENCOURAGEMENT. The manager can chew them out behind close doors if that`s what is required.
I`m pretty sure my plea for encouragement will fall on deaf ears though. I`m old enough to know better. If I`m there I`ll cheer them on no matter what.
COME ON THE PARS!!!

Well we got to the playoffs last time.
We have a much better squad this year.
We have a more experienced manager this year.
We have weaker competition this year.
So....I am sticking my neck (without a K) out.
