Sorry, but I have to say that £14 is a bit of a rip-off. I’ve hardly missed a PPV game since it started but there comes a time when you have to say, enough’s enough! Personally speaking I consider £10 to be a fair price - after all, it’s hardly a complete match experience, is it? And, with respect, the “ half time entertainment” is rarely riveting watching. What do other folk think?

Agree on that Yorkie, £12 is the limit for me, £14 for a stream to watch a Scottish championship game is a bit extreme, especially given most of the games at Cappielow aren't pretty on the eye

maybe a bit over the top but 1st game of the season and hopefully coming to the end of the PPV every week so happy to pay the extra 2 quid.
as for the half time entertainment..... does anyone actually watch that on any stream?? always flick SSN on for the 15min break when on PPV stream while laptop in background has the stream running.

PPV will be what it is, expensive and not great quality, but if you have a few watching together it can bean enjoyable experience sitting with a beer watching the Pars can`t be bad surely?
Personnaly, I hope that the PPV continues especially so you can watch games such as Morton away. It can be a trek and the ground isn`t exactly welcoming either. Some away games are great adventures and I have had great times away, but some treks put you off.
On the subject of TV, I am not a subscriber to Premier Sports as I wouldnt watch that many games so not worth it for me. However I am disappointed that you can`t purchase a one off game. It would make sense if you could as I am sure a lot of Pars fans, if not a subscriber, would pay to watch the upcoming game at Castle Greyskull.
Anyway, looking forward to the first game and first three points towards the title and if PG can pull off a great result into the bargain, I am sure the fans will slowly start tocome back when restrictions and protocol allows.

Paying £14 for a stream of a game doesn’t sound very appealing when you can maybe take in another game live and at a cheaper price. Anyway from the 9th August it should be fine to attend all home and away games with no crowd restrictions etc

Guess clubs need to balance out the finances, so say a club said it was £8 for a live stream, but its £20 for an adult to get into the game, a decent percentage would say bugger than and pay for the live stream when its available you would think.
Personally have paid for the stream tomorrow, 1st league game of the season, usual hopes and pre season promise, wouldnt personally go watch another game when my team are playing, no matter the situation.

Last season when Hearts priced their PPV at £18, more than a dozen Pars fans generously donated part or all of that amount to DADSC`s fund for getting wheelchair access to the 1st floor at EEP. If you want to do something similar for the Morton game you can do so at https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/dadsc/
To be fair, the Morton price is not as "excessive" as the Hearts price, and I know every penny is a prisoner for Scottish clubs such as Morton. However the option is there and it`s entirely optional - nobody should feel any pressure to donate to DADSC or to miss watching the Pars play if they want to.

Is PPV of streamed games only going to be allowed for UK viewers for as long as there are restrictions on numbers allowed into football grounds?

Re commentary it’ll be MortonTV (not related 😂) who will be providing this as it’s the home team coverage only (I think).
£14 is a bit steep but as 207 says it’s the first game o the season. I’m in 😊

Well, if that`s the case, shouldn`t clubs be pitching the PPV price more competitively? For a lot of folk, especially away fans, the choice will be to watch the stream or not watch at all, rather than choosing between the stream and going to the game.

teams would lose money if say morton had the stream at a fiver tomorrow, even home fans would say they would watch it for that price than say 16 quid ticket at the game

I suppose so. I was thinking admission would be restricted to ST holders but, even if it was, they probably wouldn`t be happy if the PPV price was less than the ST equivalent. I`ll decide tomorrow if I think it`s worth £14.

I suppose it depends if you watch the game in a group and split the cost or as an individual. The streams are probably more expensive for this reason as they know families/groups will watch together.
