As most of you know, for a few years (pre-Covid) DAFC and DADSC have operated a system of volunteer Match Buddies for the wheelchair viewing platforms at EEP. The Pars were one of the first clubs in Scotland to do this.
The Match Buddies wear light-blue hi-vis vests and help users of the platforms to buy refreshments, programmes, 50:50 tickets etc, as well as supplying special fleece blankets for cold weather. There`s usually plenty of time to watch the match as well!
There are five viewing platforms at EEP and all three "home" platforms will be occupied this season, as well as (usually) at least one of the "away" platforms, so we would really like to have more people volunteering to be Match Buddies (it doesn`t have to be at every match, even now and again would help.)
If you want to be a Match Buddy, please send your name and telephone details to secretary@dadsc.fife.net and we`ll take it from there. If you are interested, but it`s still too early for you to return to football once restrictions are lifted, that`s fine too - just let us know.
