apologies for the down time on the forum.

had hackers on the prowl again and changed the passwords.
unfrtunaletly I mis-spelt it ! :o(

Hi Brian,

For info during that the on the app (iPhone), when I tried to open the app - it just instantly shutdown.

I do get that sometimes with the odd thread, ie you open the app, select forum, read some threads, then select one topic and boom instant shut down... So wasn't sure if this was a problem with the app (so I kept retrying) or was an issue the site being down...

So (if you get time!) could be worth allowing app to open with an error message saying site cannot be reached?

I`m not doing very well 🙈

Indeed it should continue if there is a glitch.
I`m trying to resolve the DNS settings as they point to the backup website setup 20 months ago.

Hopefully it is nothing to do with the hacker that is prowling about.

I`ll keep you posted if things get resolved

I tried to come on via the app all day yesterday and it gave me an error message saying the site is not reachable. I tried to go in through my browser on phone and as soon as I typed in dafc.net and search got kicked out back to my phone home screen.

I did an update on the DNS settings yesterday so I`m hoping that caused the issue. (it shouldn`t have made a difference though)

let me know how it goes today, thanks for the info

if anybody wants to learn to look after websites then get in touch :o)
