Sarcasm, TOWK? Ronaldo may be 36, but he can still make a very significant contribution to any team he plays for. I remember being very sceptical when the Pars signed a 35 year old. His name? Craig Brewster.
I'll never repeat that mistake. 🙂 Brewster's influence on the rest of the team - especially Stevie Crawford - was amazing.

He ain`t a Pep player GG. He isn`t going to press the forward line and do the defensive duties that Guardiola will demand. I won`t believe for a minute that Pep said to the Shiek that Ronaldo is the player that he wants. It`s the other way around. The UAE owners have seen their fierce Qatari rivals over at PSG make headlines around the world by signing Messi and they`ve thought, `we wouldn`t mind some of that`.
The only downside is that he will be tarnishing his Utd legacy but then again if it works out how I think it will then it might actually enhance it!

Ronaldo has said in the past that he couldn’t play for City, but the fact he is 36 and his career is almost over, I don’t think he will be able to resist another pop at winning the champions league and being EPL top goalscorer ?
It's bloody tough being a legend

^^^^ Very true, TOWK. Apologies for misinterpreting your previous post as biting sarcasm, tinged with envy. 🙂

Weather he goes back to the premier League or not. Lukaku will be the league's top scorer as long as he is there IMO.

Ronaldo has turned City down. City now back tracking furiously saying he doesn`t fit their player profile.

Even at 36 he is a fabulous player who would fit into any side and make a great contribution.

Utd should break the bank for Haaland - Ronaldo is a fabulous player but this is another bad decision by the board. Its made with the heart and not head.
No long term vision behind it

I go to bed and he`s pretty much signing for City according to the media. I wake up in the afternoon (terrible sleep, I`m going to be a zombie at work tonight) and he`s signing for United. You have to love football, it`s the world`s biggest drama.
As for Haaland, I wouldn`t be surprised if he stayed one more year at Dortmund and then choose where he wants to go next summer when his buy out clause kicks in. That`s when United will sign him up.

Do United have big screens. He will not be happy if he’s not on the tele the amount of times he looks up at them. Joking aside he will scoosh the prem, even at 36
