Tbh it could go any way Chris. Ayr United may not have someone else take charge but the players could be unsettled; they could install a temporary person and their team play their hearts out; or their heads might go down and we run riot.

I’m leaning to the latter, fingers crossed!

So Jim Duffy slides into the seat temporarily. I think this will give Ayr a massive lift.

Hopefully we can focus on our own game and put in a good performance and pick up 3 badly needed points.

Football management`s a fickle business. This is the guy some on here were casting envious eyes on when he took Livi from League 1 to the Premiership in two seasons not so long ago. Jim Duffy was another favourite on here when he was at Morton.

Did we not get pumped 3-0 at Starks in Stevies first game?

Da no 1, we did indeed. I'm just wondering how badly we have to play and how many points we have lost, before our joker hands over his resignation letter. Perhaps he should listen to the Moody Blues track Go Now.

Crawford`s first game was a 1-0 defeat at Tannadice. Nicky Clark scored the winner late on but a draw would have been a fairer result.

I love it when we go sell Kevin Nisbet,
He's gonna pay for everyone this season.

Correct! Remember being at that game . Definitely his first game. Rovers defeat was a few games in

Was that the one Gill should've done better with, or was that another Tannadice game?

David Hopikin had done utterly terrible at Ayr, they'll be hoping the damage he's done to the squad isn't terminal and can be reversed.

If they get Petrie...
