Good crowd, I notice the fans are at different end to the normal home and away I wonder why they switched it.

An entertaining game. And a very good crowd for a Friday night in Arbroath.

Setting aside the TV audience, I see that there are more than 2,000 watching the livestream on the net, suggesting that there still is quite a healthy appetite for Championship football, despite its critics.

Nouble is a handful upfront for Arbroath. Wouldn’t be surprised if Livi recall him in January.

Fraser Murray showing why he couldn't hold a starting slot with us last year.

Would have Euan Murray back in an instant though.

Credit for a better performance last week...but I don't see us besting Arbroath any time soon.

Both teams maybe lacked a wee bit of attacking flair but I couldn`t see either team conceding the sort of soft goals we`ve been losing.

I think Grant's formation was more to do with not having Dow and Kennedy available. I think we'll see 4 at the back from now on.

I love it when we go sell Kevin Nisbet,
He's gonna pay for everyone this season.

He had Thomas and Kennedy... As well as that O'Hara could've been utilised wide, or alternatively you could've even have played Cole as a wife attacking mid.

Alternatives far better than putting Thomas in the middle.

Kennedy hasn't been fit and available regularly.

O'Hara out wide is a non-starter. He's a decent one-touch finisher but that's all.

The system with 3 at the back and the wing-backs was devised in pre-season and in the League Cup - and going into the League campaign, it was all looking alright. Obviously the Thistle game was a car crash, as was the Rangers game - and now, based on the players available, 4 at the back looks most logical.

I'd be surprised if that isn't how we go, hopefully with a 4-5-1 with Wighton starting.
