Does anyone check/proof-read anything before it goes on the official site? The spelling/grammatical errors usually annoy me. However, on the latest match preview, it has our last win at Starks Park being a 2-0 play off win in May this year. You’d think anyone writing that would be able to remember that we did not win that game. All just seems a bit amateurish to me.

I agree, when reading the articles, tend to always see the odd typo, missing words, duplication of words that does make it look amateurish when a simple four eyes check would solve it.

Appreciate it will be volunteers so not having a go but would be good if they put some measures in place before publishing.

I agree with this 100%. The grammar and spelling is quite poor at times and it doesn’t make for a good impression on our official site. Likewise, it’s disappointing to hear that some of the facts and figures are erroneous.
I can appreciate that the club is run on a terribly tight budget and that such issues are further down the priority list, but it’s irritating nonetheless.

Why doesn`t someone with a literate background offer to give them/us a hand.

I`m sure whoever creates the web pages would appreciate it......

Drop the club an email with details to update, offer to help rather than posting on forum

That would be much more appreciated I`m sure.

Where are you reading that out of interest? Certainly doesn't say that on the 'preview Raith' section.
