McCulloch is a coach, not a manager. Kenny Miller is in Australia, isn't he?

Would the board seriously bring in someone else who has failed at his only managerial gig after brining in Grant who has failed as a manager everywhere he has been? Worryingly, they probably would! Can`t see this due coming to the club though.

If we are looking seriously at making that step up to the premier, developing a modern training facility and establishing a youth academy, then we need a serious manager to bring these all to fruition.
I have every confidence that John Robertson is that manager.
I have wanted him to coach the Pars for nearly 20 years. He is someone who, both as a player and a coach, really does have an outstanding CV.

He said on radio a couple of weeks ago that he had not ruled out a return to management but the time was not right at the moment. But carry on speculating about filling a vacancy that doesn`t actually exist.

Would be a pretty boring forum if all we discussed were things we knew were definitely happening to be fair.
I mean, no annual season ticket guessing game.......grim

Would the OP like to put £20 on that and ill be happy to accept the wager.
If and when we replace the current manager, I would think JR is the most likely target.
It would be a popular appointment, nobody would scream, "Sack the board" if it didn't work out.
I think he could be tempted.
He is available.

John Robertson would be a superb appointment. Always thought he got the best out of a bang average team. Brought players like Shaun Rooney, Brad McKay on to higher levels than I thought they would be. We could do a lot worse. Him, Yogi or Petrie would be my ideal appointments.

What's your mate's name, 97?
No, let me guess. Ross McArthur? No? Thomas Meggle? No?
Last guess. One of the brothers Grimm?
Not your average Sunday League player.

Although I would like wee John Robertson I highly doubt he would come here. He`s like what Jim leishman is to us up there. The support he was given during his personal issues is pretty much unheard of nowadays especially from clubs where money is tight and needs properly managed and loyalty like that hard to find.
