We call Raith that but never really understood why, is it purely because of location or was it that we were deemed to be superior to them in terms of facilities and at football?
If the latter at what point would Raith supersede us, they’ve done better than us last season, knocking us out in fact, they are doing alright for themselves this season.
Is it our turn to be the wee team for a bit?

You're a bundle of joy Berry.
Let's say it's when they beat the European Champions on their own turf to knock them out the cup, go onto win it and then get past the semi-final in Europe the following season.

I love it when we go sell Kevin Nisbet,
He's gonna pay for everyone this season.

We call them it because it winds them up like nothing else. Simple

It's just to wind them up. There's no real meaning to it.
It's like how Cowdenbeath people call us Toonies even though they live in a town.

I have to say I have sympathies with all three. Born in Dunfermline, lived in Cowdenbeath, my mum from Kirkcaldy, my dad from Burntisland and my great grandad a Raith player. I don`t like Raith being called the wee team because it tends to backfire on us, as it certainly did last season.

It doesn`t "tend" to backfire. We`ve generally been better than them for the majority of the time I`ve been supporting the Pars. They have periods when they`re better, but that`s a rivalry for you.
They also really dislike us, whereas we quite like them - in a little brother kind of way. We like them to do well, it just gets annoying if we`re going through a phase where they have a better side.

Wee team for me because they have always had a poor support compared to us.
Might not be much difference this season though…

Denying the loss of power is giving up on getting it back 😉
