On a much happier note, the fact that our wee brothers from linoland managed a brilliant result today, has gone largely unnoticed. Three one at Rugby Park today after turning over Partick Thistle last week. Rather superb, I think and worthy of a smidgeon of admiration from their Fife neighbours.

I`m one of those (few?) that like to see the Fife teams do well, gone to see the Blue Brazil plenty, even the Rovers, if there is a game and I`m in the country and the Pars aren`t playing.
Rovers had a look of a team going for promotion, well balanced, good to watch AND THE PLAYERS PLAYING IN REALISTIC FORMATIONS.

They outplayed us at Starks Park and moved the ball well. They look like a team that will finish in the top 3 this season. QOS will be up there too.

Credit to John McGlynn, doing a wonderful job on the whole with them. Built a League 1 winning side and performed well above expectations last season absolutely stuffing us in the playoffs. Loses their key player in Hendry and also missing guys like Musonda and Vaughan through long term injuries and still remain highly competitive.
Play good football, bring through younger players and seem to get the best out of guys that haven't been deemed good enough for other clubs. Shows what a good manager can do for a club at this level

Apart from the Rovers only Kelty upholding the standards for Fife. East Fife, Cowdenbeath and ourselves bottom of their respective leagues.

Just watched the managers interview on YouTube, they went with 3 centre backs (Tom Lang made his debut).
A manager that knows how to play the opposition.

Genuinely couldn’t care less about the Rovers. If they want to take the phis out us then let them batter in. It’s Falkirk as the main rival for me. Maybe that’s a generational thing?

I expected some folk to go bonkers tonight but this is even madder than I thought.
Whilst we're at it, well done to Falkirk on their comeback win against East Fife. Inspirational stuff.

Highly magnanimous Dagopar, or do I detect a tinge of sarcasm?

Always had a soft spot for Raith. First result I check after ours. Pretty much a Fifer thing I suppose.
As long as we do better I like to see them do well.
Better roll our sleeves up.

Their situation only angers me more
Less budget
Better football
More points
Developing players
Manager who they trust
Managers tactics usually spot on
They hammered us last year too. Their doing well and it’s hard to take

I suppose some of us Fifers have strong links in various parts of Fife and with relatives and friends in different parts and supporting the other teams we have some affection for other teams while DA remains no1. It`s best not to be too blinkered in these situations.
My late dad would be very happy with Raith Rovers` current form.

The current opinion among my Rovers supporting mates is that Paul Smith is the mainstay at Starks Park at the moment
