Tomorrow should be do or die day.
Topic Originator: kozmasrightfoot

After tomorrow that`ll be the first round of matches over. If we`re still on 4 points surely something has to give.

Fair enough you can`t sack someone after 4 games but you are completely within your rights to show him the door after the first round. 4 points is disgraceful and if the trend continues then its 16 points at the end of the season and 16 points equals relegation.

LOL. good one.

Lose tomorrow and the following will happen:
RM still there, PG still there. Leaked rumours on Facebook by a clown to take the heat off for a few weeks. Rinse, repeat.

Down, down deeper n down.

Let's wait and see how this prediction pans out.

I'm glad you don't sponsor our club and as far as I'm concerned you can keep your cash in your pocket.

Must admit it’s gone beyond do or die, most people I know have given up on the Pars at the moment, quite a lot won’t be there tomorrow and ALL expect a defeat.

If I were to guess, Grant has made a point about not being able to get the team together to train properly to get his points across, that's probably bought him more time with the board than what usually would've happened?

With that in mind, after the QoTS game during the discussion with Meggle they've noted he'll have had two weeks to train the team, there is literally no excuses for tomorrow. A poor performance and he'll be away I think.

On the flip side, a dominent performance where we win by a couple and Meggle will feel vindicated, weirder things have happened.

I feel a lot of people have given up and certainly feel disenchanted with the club at the moment. The club statement had that effect along with the poor performances.

Hoping as always for a win tomorrow and a turn around in fortune if not changes have to happen.

One thing`s for sure. The club will still exist and despite all the great supporters it has, the negative non attendees and keyboard warriors will still be shouting their guff online. See you at all the games as the season progresses. And next seaon. Good night.

Well, I’ll be doing what I’ve done for 50 years now - going along to support the team and hoping we can win and I can be entertained?

Tomorrow will be Sunday and then back to work on Monday.

No dramas, no hurling abuse, just disappointment if we don’t win and/or play well

RAITH BEAT THEM 3-1 AT RUGBY PARK!!!! And they aren`t used to playing on grass. Of course we have a great chance of beating them.

I wanted Grant gone after the Arbroath defeat. It may only have been the end of August, but I had seen enough by then to have made up my mind that this guy will relegate us. Nothing has happened since to change that view.

I am feeling much as I felt during Ian Munro`s tenure. It is like having a painful toothache that won`t go away...

As Scotland proved in the last week veteran, one goal more than the opposition is enough. Admittedly though, goals have been at a premium at EEP. Sometimes though a little spark of genius from an unlikely source can turn the tide.

Back to the theme of the thread. I doubt it is do or die. The BoD have backed PG so they appear to be taking a longer term view to turn the fortunes around. A couple of victories changes everything in this league. Todays game for me is about improvement in performance over the QoS game. A victory would be great. Good luck to everyone today.

We’ll start off much better, on the front foot from the start. It’s whether we score during that period, if we do then can see us going on to secure that first win.

If we don’t can see a Killie victory.

Unless it’s an absolute roasting, PG will be in charge come Partick.

One goal more than the opposition is something we haven`t achieved in 8 consecutive league games.

No result today would suprise me though.

Is not more than a year since we won a league game away from home as well as the awful recent home league record. Turning point day hopefully either we win and our fortunes change or Peter Grant simply holds his hands up at his abysmal record. I hope we win as I always do but the pressure point must be today, just hope the boo boys wait until after the match before venting their feelings

3pm-4.45pm is not about the board, it’s not about the manager, it’s about the players and the badge. It’s only the 11 on the pitch that can get us points to help us climb up the table. So if you go along today, at least do your best to support them and give them the best encouragement that you can as a Pars fan. Save any other noise for after the match.

They’re professional football players how are they not used to playing on grass? they play on grass every second week and will have played about 90% of their careers on grass.

What’s the relevance of Raith not being used to playing on grass? Rugby Park has an artificial surface.
