Aye, they appear to have no defence today. This could be embarrassing for Ole. He's a nice guy but I remember Jose being sacked after a scudding by Liverpool.

There was unreasonable optimism when Ronaldo signed. Looks like the rest of the team downed tools and expected Ronaldo`s magic to take them through. Add to that Bruno Fernández going right off the boil and MacGuire wandering about in a daze and it`s a recipe for disaster.

Ole cuts a very similar figure to SC in his later days - lost and without a plan to sort out the problems.

Wouldn`t be surprised if they`re not looking at giving that kind of tackle a more severe punishment ie a fixed number of matches banned

As much as I like Ole as a person and former player, I`m afraid his time is up. If you can`t motivate your team to rise up against your greatest rivals then you`re simply not capable of doing the job. They don`t press, they have no shape, they have no chance of winning anything of note.
As for Pogba, the most overrated player ever.
Shambles.

I just included the relevant bit. Are you now suggesting that United's non existent defence will mean Ole's not bomb proof after all? 🤔

Exactly. They had embarrassed them with the 5 goals so they decided to further embarrass them with the possession stats for a wee while.

Just tha thankful Liverpool gave us good thumping instead of just a solid beating. Ole will now be gone before the end of the month. Liverpool could have gotten more but Pogba put paid to any thoughts they may have had by injuring Keita. They then decided it wouldn`t be worth it. A painful afternoon as Utd fan but necessary to make the board see sense and usher Ole and his staff out.
And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed

I feel your pain, TOWK. Ole's a nice guy, but nice guys don't always succeed in football management. He couldn't be more different to Fergie and even he would struggle to manage this bunch of prima donnas. Harry McGuire had a nightmare game, but many of his team mates weren't much better.
Never mind - you've got the derby in a fortnight. 🙂

It was a thumping and with Liverpool in 2nd gear for much of the match.
I was really surprised how p*sh Man Utd's defence played and how unorganised they were.
Ole will be gone soon I'm sure but the players will still be there.
As for Liverpool, it was clinical finishing of the highest order tonight.
Salah is even better than the season he banged in dozens of goals imo.
The most complete striker in the world right now.

One thing I love about football is the way supporters of all clubs can suffer ups and downs and joys and tribulations regardless of size or financial might. At present do Pars fans feel any worse than fans of Manchester United or Barcelona?
