I couldn't listen.
The players are playing crap because of the way they are being coached. Take responsibility and resign.

The old cliche is it’s ‘a result based business’ , our BOD are an exception to that.

Well done on them to rebuke that cliche.

Why should he resign?

Say goodbye to all that money voluntarily.

The board have made their bed and now they have to lie in it.

They have their reasons for their timing. It will all have to do with the conditions in his contract and balancing the books. Stuff they cannot discuss publicly. His recent draws kept him alive but I am quite sure today was the decider.

Big mob of Pars fans outside with anti Grant chants, nasty situation with plenty police about trying to control things. This will be a taste of things to come if something does not change I fear.

I dunno, I have a sinking feeling he won't be gone, the silence from the investors is worrying....have they nothing to say? What are their intentions?

Why resign?

I couldn’t look myself in the mirror if I kept taking someone’s money for doing such a bad job. I’ve quit jobs I’ve been a bad fit for before. Grant will know he’s made a massive hole of this and burned through the clubs cash on poor signings. The decent thing is to walk without costing the club any more money. I’m sure he’s reasonably secure financially after years at Celtic and various coaching gigs.

I was at the game today. Despite going 2 up early on we started to allow Arbroath to take the game by the scruff of the neck. They looked faster, stronger, fitter and hungrier for the game. It did not help that our manager was losing the plot and instead of geeing the players up they looked frightened to try passing to each other. The minibus that I was on left before the trouble started, we did notice more police starting to arrive. Was there more problems in Dunfermline when the team bus came back to EEP. I know we all want a change in manager but if the German owners still want him to stay we must think of other ways not violence.

It is all over the papers that the Team Bus had to get a police escort away from the ground, how long before another club statement having a go at the fans. McArthur and the Germans were not at the game today?

He won’t resign, why would he?

Pay off etc..

BOD need to way up the cost of relegation V keeping PG, that’s their choice. They obviously seem that as acceptable.

BOD need to terminate is contract, no option IMO.

Football is result based, bottom of league and pumped by the a PT team over two games 7-2.

Last game I went at Arbroath we won 7-0, how the mighty have fallen.

Current BOD are a farce.

Peter Grant is now between the proverbial `rock and a hard place`. He should resign, but he won`t for several reasons; admission of incompetence, track record for any future job, personal pride, money, etc etc etc. The only real way out is for the board to sack him or he leaves by `mutual consent` thereby saving his face. Hopefully the board will see this and do the right thing. Gone by Monday?

I think they will give PG the next two or three games to turn it around. All of the evidence seems to point to the fact we are simply not good enough. Having no resilience to hold on to a 2 goal lead is a worry. If it all looks good in training and we cannot produce it on a Saturday, something is wrong. I dont know the day to day at EEP but they must know something we dont.

They were as bad as the instructions they were given and the coaching they are getting.

So are you saying you condone that behaviour ? It will make headlines and all for the wrong reasons.

If some fans were going over the top they will be quite right to criticise them. They need to deal with the cause too though.

The Arbroath players were also prevented from leaving the ground.

We should have prevented them from entering the pitch ?

The video is on Twitter, it`s a bunch of laddies shouting at a bus. Try and establish the facts before you condemn them.

Hey but lets turn this it into a go at the fans that have travelled 2000 miles plus since their team last won away from home. These are the same fans that provide the only atmosphere at games, they want the same thing the rest of us do and at least show some passion instead of the absolutely blinkered and monotonous defence of the team, the manager and the directors that some on here can`t stray from.

The concerns future sponsors have is the league position of the club and the dwindling attendances

So a number of police have to get involved. Both squads are not allowed to leave the ground, presumably because of H&S fears, yet somehow this is ok, because we lost another game and we want the manager sacked?

I must be missing something, gents?

This can`t be the way to go about it, surely?

Actually, it was also grown men; kicking and thumping the team bus. They then tried to block it when the driver was reversing into the car park, before trying the same when it was going to leave with the team on board. The police were required to provide safety for the team, just to leave the stadium.

Bloody idiots whichever way you look at it. What they thought they were trying to achieve is anyone’s guess.

Trying to intimidate a bus full of professional footballers into performing better for you is a sure fire winner!

Aye but the board better not criticise the wee darlings. They pay their money and they are entitled.
