That’s very decent of you Eddie. It’s good to be reminded that Peter Grant was just a guy trying to do a job. The job was, I think it’s fair to say, too much for him, but he’s far from the first person about whom that can be said. It appears that he did try to pitch in with the all round efforts of DAFC. Our club has many good sides beyond the confines of the football field, and that’s very important.

It's stuff like that you often don't get to hear about. Well done PG.

As has been said, Peter, I am sure, will have worked extremely hard to be a success with our club, doing many things behind the scenes and working long days, which fans do not see.
He should be thanked for his efforts and I certainly wish him and his family success in the future.

Fair play Peter Grant.
I`m 100 % sure you tried to make the team/club a success, and got involved in other things within the club.
Ultimately it didn`t happen but good luck in the future.

Fair play to Peter Grant . We’ve all suffered at some time let’s be honest . Football is a horrendous environment to be involved in at times .

Agree with all above. Its terrible losing your job at anytime, but when you are in the public domain, it makes it worse. I genuinely, wish grant all the best, and I never doubted,he done his best.Sometimes, that just, does not work for you. Think some other staff, should have a damn, good look at themselves.

I hope he has success elsewhere?

With all the negatives I have said about his managerial abilities, fair play to him for his support in that. It is something many will suffer from and something that should be talked about.

I would like to wish Peter Grant all the best for the future. Although things didn`t work out, he always gave full commitment to the club in what were testing times. He acted with great dignity at all times, and never hid away from the criticism and abuse thrown his way. Thanks for your efforts Peter.
C`mon

He showed a lot more dignity and decency than some of his critics on here. A lot of the stuff said about him on here was shameful.

Good thread. While some of his signings, early season formations and substitutions didn’t work out (and been questionable) he did seem to be giving it his all. Wish him well for the future.
