Hearts football club has apologised after a loyalist song was played over the speaker system at Tynecastle.
The Sash was played while fans toured the stadium at the Foundation of Hearts open day on Sunday. Footage of the incident was shared on social media.

Ps happy to say that for all the vitriol and anger of our recent situation - I'm actually proud of the fact that I didn't hear any sectarian bile thrown at Peter grant

I would hope that Hearts identify and sack the person(s) responsible immediately. It would set an example to any other club with similar Neanderthals among its supporters.

Not your average Sunday League player.

True colours from Hearts. The mask slips. Despicable fans, despicable club.

Hearts are an odd club. Some are just normal guys who don't care about religion whereas others are definite lodge members. This sort of stuff is embarrassing for Hearts but also for Scotland in general. Why the flip are people STILL singing songs and marching about battles that happened hundreds of years ago and have no relevance in modern society?

Working in Edinburgh for so long, what jake89 says is my experience. The 1690 guys are there. Like when Airdrie were a thing.
