 Match day tannoy

Why don't they play music pre match on the speaker system anymore? Surely a bit of music would help to build up the atmosphere?

I know it isn't a huge amount but maybe licensing?

The whole match day experience is awful. You can’t hear the tannoy in the main stand. You go to away games and the music is blaring. Been like this for years. East End is a dull ground to go to on Saturday but obviously even worse at the moment.
