Best player on the park but subbed. Why?

Because Shields and Whitaker is as clueless as their old boss. Guy was our single bright spark so not surprised he looked furious going off

I think bright spark is pushing it a bit. Absolutely nobody was anywhere near pass marks today imo

Kennedy and Thomas are the most overrated players at EEP. No final product from either and no effort without the ball. I`d happily have Kyle McDonald playing in place of either of them every week. The petulance of Thomas when subbed today sums him up.

He was still our best player up front. Taking him off meant we were getting nothing from the game. Shocking decision?

I don`t care. He was our best player today and deserved to stay on. How Kennedy got 90 mins escapes me.

Seriously? I forgive you your clear lack of football knowledge to come out with a statement like this though.
Thomas was our only creative player yet again.
He shook hands with Shields when leaving the pitch BTW as you're talking about petulance.

Kennedy looks miles away from the player we need just now, 1 trick pony who cuts in despite having no left foot and does less than nothing when we don’t have ball.
Thomas tries but in that team he’s got no chance, would do much better with some championship level players around him. Half the time today when he looked up there wasn’t even anyone in the box.

I said after the Rovers game, that we could have done with another two Dom Thomas`. That applied today as well
O`Hara and Dow tried, but they are not the answer up front.
Dow`s best position before his injury was right midfield, where he linked up well with Comrie
I don`t think he`s been played there since?
Today, we had Kennedy there whose party trick seems to be running up dead ends?

Dow went to right mid after Thomas was subbed and he was poor there, he seems to have lost the burst of acceleration that would take him past players

Dow was always an average championship player. He was brought back into the team way too soon as half fit and it’s showed, now he’s closer to Match fit we’re finding he’s lost that yard so now looks like a decent league 1 player, perfect for next season.

In any game where your chasing a goal Thomas should remain on the park if fit.
Would anyone else agree that Thomas seems to be applying himself more in games the past 3-4 weeks?

Very strange decision to take Dom off and leave Dow on the park or even Kennedy
I thought today if anyone would unlock the door for a goal it would be him ,

Yes he is applying himself more but starting from a very low baseline, still very poor today

Totally agree Raymie, chuck Dow in there too. The guy has been a waste of a jersey since he came back from injury but has pretty much played the full 90 every week 🤔🤔

Wrong decision from our assistant and coach. Although Mr Thomas yet again had spells where he just didn’t seem to get into gear so maybe they thought he had done his bit and was finished.
As for Kai Kennedy , quicker he realises that he’s not at Rangers and therefore doesn’t get automatic free kicks every time he falls over, and also realises that he can PASS the ball after defeating 3 men…might be a player in there.

Kai Kennedy is a strange one for me, his end product was no where near good enough yesterday yet at times he would beat 2/3 players and then their was no forward movement from our striker.
Thomas coming off was bizarre, shields and Whittaker ruling themselves out the job pretty quickly.

With the right manager, Thomas And Kennedy would be unstoppable. It’s difficult to judge players on the basis that the team has no structure!! However you can see both these guys have talent.

With the right manager Graham, Mehmet and Dorrans would be unstoppable, wouldn't be great for rest of squad but the right manager could get those 3 playing well
