Have to say, I loved it and feel enthused in a way I didn’t after Grants appointment.

I take to him, so I overlook the funny references to us and Rovers being in the first division and to McLeish as one of our legends. Did he really mean Leishman? Well he`s got a big personality, a bit of charisma does no harm and a couple o` gaffes just show he`s human. I liked his summing up. Overall, I felt there`s no BS with him - I think he means what he says and that`s a good start.

Wonderful interview, hopefully he'll add an inch (height!) to each of the players with that kind of ethic and enthusiasm. Love it.

`I don`t have a magic wand.` Almost word for word what Jock Stein said when appointed in March 1960, so that`s a good omen. A pity Yogi later in the interview started talking about waving magic wands and stardust!
As a player Yogi was committed to winning his personal duels and I think he has identified a weakness jn the Pars under PG. We had become too focused on shape and formation but neglected the basic element of competing for the ball. If reminding players of their personal responsibility inside a team is high on Yogi`s agenda then that must be a step forward. We are sitting bottom of the league because, as he says, we have become a soft touch.

I liked the fact that he said that he was lucky to be Pars Manager whereas Grant made out we were lucky to have him.

That 15 minutes is why he is one of my favourite personalities in Scottish football. I listened to one of his interviews on open goal a few weeks ago and it was fascinating hearing him talk about football and his time at Ross County. This is the manager I wanted for a long time. He is unbelievably passionate and I know he`ll put 100% effort into getting the best out of the team. I`ve not been this optimistic about a manager for a long time. I`m adamant well improve pretty quickly.

Cracking interview that.
If he can get us competing with teams in the middle of the park that really would be something! I don’t share his optimism that that part of the team is good enough but we’ll see I guess!
Law of averages say we’re due to sneak a win soon! Maybe tomorrow is the day.
Things will be looking up……..now yogi is gone!

Positive, and refreshingly honest. His enthusiasm is hopefully infectious. On paper a sensible and good appointment.
Had plenty of time to turn it round.

I noticed that he didn't shy away from his ill fated stint at Raith. He said that he couldn't have succeeded at Ross County last season without the experience he'd been through at Starks Park.
Sounds like he's saying he's learned from that and is unlikely to repeat these mistakes.
Not your average Sunday League player.

I have always respected Hughes the footballer, always gave his all on and off the pitch and a very tough opposition player. One memory is this game which pars should have won on the day to take the top position from the bairns. 1-1

Aye but at least he didn't keep repeating himself. Grant was like a broken record. He just didn't know how to stop going round in circles. "... as I say.....repeat....as I say....repeat zzzzzzzzz
