Surprised Armstrong is starting. He has been rotten in his last few Scotland games. Would rather see Turnbull or Brown.

Here`s hoping we can win easily for once!

Looks a decent enough side on paper. Let’s hope we can get the win? They have not won in 21 games

Well worked. Need another though to be comfortable. They are quite dangerous when they get in and around our box

That's the insurance we needed. Just need to see the game out now and not take any unnecessary risks.

I expected there to be Sportscene highlights tonight but I can`t see any on the TV schedules. Are they only on ITV tonight along with England highlights?

Anthony Ralston has been called up to the squad for the Denmark game now that Nathan Patterson is suspended. Eight players - O`Donnell, Robertson, Hendry, McTominay, McGinn, Gilmour, Adams and Nisbet - are one booking away from being suspended from the play-off match. Two bookings in ten matches leading to suspension seems a bit harsh. Isn`t it also unfair if you`re drawn against a team from a five-team group who will only have played a maximum of eight matches with a consequent lesser chance of players being booked?

If they drop the results from the games against the bottom team, they should also drop any cards issued in the same games.

That`s what I was thinking, PARrot. I suppose there would be an anomaly if somebody picked up a red card in the last group game if it was against the bottom team. Should they be excused suspension?

Yellows should be rescinded when a team gets to the next stage of a competition. In this case , when a team progresses from the group to the knockout stages

That was my thinking Raymie. Once group stage is completed, playoffs are next stage of competition surely

Easy way to solve the confusion is to do away with yellows and give a 10 or 15 min sin bin. That would make them think twice about fouling. Works in Hockey and Rugby so why not football?

Means there is a real price to pay rather than a silly booking that barely compensates the aggrieved team.

I see Conor Gallagher of Crystal Palace, who potentially could have played for England, Ireland or Scotland, has been called up to the England squad for tomorrow`s game against San Marino.

I don't think Hockey and Rugby have issues with people diving about and pretending they are hurt like football does.
Not so sure we should incentivise this type of behaviour further.
