Gets a 10/10 from me. After all the slagging the young guy was brilliant. Played his heart out. Would play him every week.

Chuffed for McCann,getting his goal....
At 17 he seemed a great prospect.....he used to "rummel up"
The centre half that he was up against.....so at the start of last season
Had bulked up, was clearly faster...BUT couldn`t bring it into his game
He lacked coaching rather than ability......he may now have kicked
On into a new phase of his career.....good for him I say...
Long may it continue.......

McCann was very good PAR57 but he didn’t score. That was an error of reporting on the BBC site. Our first goal was an own goal when Driver turned the ball into the net.

Like the rest he had an awful first half , 2nd half he was pressing and harrying defenders obviously after a word from Yogi, good 2nd half from him deserves a run to see how he progresses

Having seen the replay of the goal it`s hard to see how anyone could have thought that was anything other than an own goal but credit to McCann for being in there putting pressure on the defence.

Well done to the boy.
Didn`t see the game but by all accounts deserves another shot.

I have always thought he could be an asset to us,probably went backwards playing him on the wing.
He`s a big unit time for him to kick on now,and given a chance to play in his favoured position.

Also it was Kevin Ohara that put the cross in, not Arron Comrie

I said McCann because the tannoy announced it as him. I couldn’t tell from the angle that Devine put it into the net, and I was sitting at the far end of the main stand in the home support.
I’ve only been able to now see the OG clearly, from the highlights.

On the plus side, looking at Danny Divine goal record, Dunfermline is the first side he has scored 3 goals for

East End Park is a symbol of all that is DAFC.

Have to say I'm a bit gutted for the lad that he didn't score his first goal for us. Always next week Lewis

Aye, I was chuffed when I got the notification through saying we'd scored, then doubly chuffed when it said it was McCann.

A wee bit more speed training and next time he might get 4 yards from the ball and who knows by this time next year he might get a tap in. Sorry just having a laugh, it would be great to see him do well for us and provide some real class up front.

In fairness, looked like he put himself about and put in a shift. He probably would have scored if it hadn't been for Devine Intervention

In fairness I think with the quality of the cross in from OHara and where McCann was he was getting a tap in if Devine didn`t get a toe to it.

`Cross was by Comrie.`

That`s what I thought the first time I saw it but it was O`Hara (no 7). Comrie (no 2) was behind him.

Definitely wasn't. It was O'Hara.

Yes Kevin O`Hara is beginning to pay his way a bit with a few goals and assist (in the singular thus far) but if his cross into the box was improved and he could form a decent partnership with a good target man maybe we could expect more goals.

I’d expect McCann to start next week. Be interesting to see what a run of games at centre forward and a goal does for his confidence.

It was O'Hara who crossed for Todd's goal last week, and for Devine's goal this week. He does seem to find space on the wings well, and if he manages one assisted goal every week that will do nicely!

McCann might not have got the final touch but he contributed massively to the goal.

It was his burst up the park right after we'd cleared from defending a free kick, then battling for the ball on the half way line that prevents it coming straight back in and allows the rest of the team to get up the park. Outstanding.

A perfect example of 'defending from the front' and pressure you don't see from some of our other forwards.

An expression Yogi gave in his interview with Steven Mill.

I hope he gets a run of games to show what he can do?

I liked him when he first broke into the side. Not sure why he hasn`t kicked on, but I suspect, he`s not solely to blame for that?

Because of Covid and the injury he suffered they haven`t been able to farm him out to a League 1 or 2 side where getting more game time and maybe more confidence from scoring would have been better for his development. It`s a bigger jump to get a regular place in a Championship team but good luck to him.
