And Peter grant didn’t think he was good enough 😂, shows how much that clown knows about football. Play Dom in his natural position and he can rip teams apart, was man of the match for me yesterday

No defender of Grant but was his issue not that Thomas would not do the defensive part of the game ?

That’s what he said in an interview, last few games he’s started I haven’t seen any issues to that side of his game. More to the fact that the 2 of them had a falling out, this was confirmed by someone I know sitting next to a member of dom’s family at ibrox

Thomas can be almost unplayable on his day but he is also very inconsistent and that was the case under Crawford as well as Grant.

You have just answered your own question.
Dom’s work rate was superb against Raith and Grant was still the manager.
Every player needs to work hard, regardless of talent.
You just need to look at the criticism levelled at the current Manchester Utd team ?
It's bloody tough being a legend

I'm with Westie on this again, PG seen Thomas playing in a different position, If it had come off it could have been the making of the team.
DT has undoubted talent and a few flaws as every player has, It is now Up to yogi and DT to harness these skills for the good of the team.

He also had covid under Crawford (after the hearts game). Who knows how it affected him. Maybe he was struggling for longer than a few weeks with it.
As long as he's doing the business now that's good enough for me.

Dom is a match winner, and we don't have many of those individuals. We need to harness that. I would like to see him achieve a wee bit more consistency week in week out though

I’d like to think with a good relationship with Yogi he could really kick on and show us these flashes of genius more often. If he feels happy, valued and settled he will be driven to produce his best week in and out. I think full time on Saturday was an encouraging sign. Straight over to Yogi for a hug.

Good post I think Yogi will help develop him as he has natural talent

I read an article in the Guardian recently about research into fitness levels after contracting covid. It found that 6 months later levels were still 5% below full fitness.
