Dom Thomas spent a lot of the game playing fairly centrally and doing it well.
The previous manager was criticised for playing him there

To be fair, the game is much easier when you are two and three up. Most of the Pars players had lots of time on the ball and were making passes for fun.
That’s not to say he didn’t play well. Just adding some context

Said this to my son walking home. That Formation suits him as he doesn’t have the legs in a 4-4-2 now IMO. Good performance though

Outstanding performance from Dorrans……..He doesn’t need a lot of pace as he knows the right place to be, an absolute masterclass. The ball he pulled down in the SH that came over his shoulder was world class.

Looked to me that out of possession he was on the left, but when we got the ball he was allowed to go where he wanted.... Worked well, allowing Edwards to get high and wide ahead of him.

Getting the ball in the net a couple of times takes all the pressure off and enables the whole team to express themselves and that`s what happened today. The goals were just not coming earlier so we were always under pressure. We got a huge break today because the corner we scored our first goal from was not a corner. It should have been a goal kick.

I think he has the talent if we were playing in a system like the one we saw yesterday or if we played 2 defensive midfielders and let him have a free role in the middle. But in a midfield two where the other, not for me. Especially when we don`t have a discount N`golo Kante to play as the second man.
