Did anyone else in the NW have the pleasure of sampling said delicacies? Solid charcoal with a hint of steak. A poor offering, only slightly improved by lashings of brown sauce. 1/10.

I had a pie at the ICT game, and swore it'll be the last, after a few years of poor quality food. It was burnt through and tasted like it had been in the oven since the previous home game. In future I'll just bring a snack from the house

Thankfully I resisted the impulse to sample that delicacy and remained in my seat at half time. Great game though. Haven`t enjoyed a Pars game like that for many months.

The quicker EEP get their own catering back the better, Stephens must take all the stuff they havnt sold in their shops for the last couple of days, double the price and Bob's yer uncle.
East End Park is a symbol of all that is DAFC.

Don’t buy the soft drink either, flat as a pancake and at the price of pretty much a full bottle.

The ones in the normal shops are fine. They did have issues last week though. Maybe time to bring Baynes in?

I had a word in the club shop with a lady Margaret ?? , she said she would relay my thoughts on the case of the bridie to Stephens , unlike the lovely steak pies we had at Arbroath bowling club on the way to the game .

Stephens steak bridies, once a thing of pride, have been crap for years. Talk about living off a reputation!
Utter garbage.

Their fare is hit and miss most of the times to be fair but I`m talking about shop purchased. Lack of filling was my biggest bugbear with their bridies. I decided to stop buying their crap a while ago and much prefer Bayne`s stuff.

See you happy clappys! We will not get premier league steak bridies so long as you lot are willing to accept such mediocrity. Fine is not good enough. They were the best. Sack the manager I say. Get someone in who cares, who appreciates the very reputation of the ex world champion bridie is at steak.
What we are getting is a loada mince.

The food is quite rightly top of this forum - we were served caviar on the pitch but unfortunately off the pitch it was quite the opposite. Probably would’ve enjoyed eating the cup the bovril was served in over the bridies. Rotten.

The quality of the bridies has fallen. No idea if the club accepted that should be so in the contract If they didn`t then they should ask questionns.

Pacifist, I am sure it’s been posted on here before that Stephens pay for the pitch, they don’t pay a percentage on the sales.
There haggis and stake from the shop is excellent, shame it’s not on the menu.

I was told that the football produce comes from Stephen's sister bakery Pars Foods (no obvious link), from Glasgow?
Therefore the bridie you get at the game is a very different bridie from the one you get in a shop from the Rosyth bakery.
No idea if true or not, but it is undeniable that the quality of bridie is worse at the football and the price questionable. Plus they don't do the mince and onion, which is ridiculous. 🤤

Something to be raised at the Supporters` Q&A on Wednesday?
Maybe someone could ask the Directors to come and sample the food the supporters are being offered?

Pars are the parent company of Stephen's. They also own McGhees, which may be where these bridies are really coming from. I'm fairly sure I read that the merger between Pars and Stephen's was related to a marriage.
I'd be surprised if they'd ship inferior product from Glasgow when they have a big unit 5 miles from EEP. A more likely explanation is that they're using rejects or leftovers.

Agreed, the steak and haggis pie would rival any in the football circuit. Also love the broccoli cheese and chilli pie, which they really should supply as a veggie alternative. Seriously they might not sound good to a ravid carnivor but they are awfy tasty.

There may be a few decent ones in the batch, or maybe you're easy pleased. They are crap. Little filling and poor pastry. A shadow of what they used to be.

Baynes for rolls... Stephens for bridies and scotch pies.
Cannae beat a scotch pie on a well fired roll.
Personally I've never had a bad bridie but then again I've never had a bridie at EEP so I don't know.
Mmm... Now I'm hankering for a scotch pie fae Stephens on a baynes roll (picked up a few rolls yesterday so I need to consume them today).
Does anyone know if the Stephens in Rosyth on Primrose is open on a Sunday?

As bad as the shop ones are nowadays, they are not nearly as bad as the EEP ones. I don't care how much they deny it, they are definitely not fresh.
