I was one of a number of Pars fans interviewed by Hugh McDonald at the weekend. He was writing an article on the Pars and told me it would be appearing in today's Daily Mail. I imagine that would be the Scottish edition, but I can't find it online.
Is it likely to only be available online after it initially appears in the newspaper itself? I normally avoid the Daily Mail like the proverbial plague, but I'm prepared to make an exception on this occasion. 🙂

I feel your pain GG. My mother-in-law once told us she'd booked a table for lunch (Dumfries) but did not say it was at the conservative club. I had to sit there in front of a large framed photo of Thatcher. Still get nightmares!

Daily Mail *boo hiss*! They'll have homed in on the Italian link and described you as some sort of job stealing, benefit claiming Johnny Foreigner who is responsible for this country going to the dogs. "Pas-ta sick bag - I'd rather have a bridie than a macaroni pie".

Any update on the alleged article or did it come to nothing. I do notice that there are always plenty Daily Mails left on the shelf at my local supermarket but rarely any Daily Express`s. I take it that as far as right wing politics goes that the Daily Mail is more extreme than the Express? I only buy the express because I like the Crusader Crossword. Honest!!

Disappointed at a number of inaccuracies in the article.
I didn`t say the 1-1 home draw with St Johnstone was the last home game of the season, but that it cost us any chance of winning the league. (The last game was a 5-1 v Celtic, scant consolation for a 3-2 defeat in the SC final 4 days earlier.)
I also believe Falkirk did have an ice rink, next to the college, just up the road from the club`s Grangemouth stadium.
He even managed to get my age wrong. ☹️
