Thanks for posting that. I love anything to do with photos of old football grounds, especially in Scotland. There`s plenty in that article that speaks to exactly what football is to me, and that sort of article always stirs some strange emotions in me. And just by chance, I`ve spent much of this morning looking at photos of old grounds.

One great line in that article:

"I’m not kidding when I say you will find many guys who would rather look at a photo of Stark’s Park or Boghead than a photo of the Taj Mahal."

That`s definitely me.

The football memories project is fantastic, and people from Dunfermline Athletic Heritage Trust have contributed to this in quite a big way. I`d love to have some involvement in this, if only I had the time to contribute to it.

I enjoyed reading it and seeing the pics, if only to prove yet again how enduring my long-term memory of former players is compared with my leaky short-term memory of current players!

The Cemetery End is a good read for British Grounds lost or updated in the last 25 years.
