If they have to isolate for 10 days, there`s no way the game can go ahead on the 29th. Hopefully, it will be rescheduled for a time when we can all attend.

Two Premiership games in England are off on Sunday. Omicron may be less dangerous but its increased transmissibility is now apparent.

Maybe ICT injuries will clear enough for them to field a team by Wednesday?

No way to check whether “injuries” have cleared ?

Depending who has covid, they may prefer not to play?

Based on the St Mirren decision during the week I presume there must be a large number of players either tested positive or having to self isolate. Or could the St Mirren decision have been influenced by television? Surely not

St Mirren match was not on TV. But league seemed determined for match to be on including breaking own rules on recalling loan players. Inverness should be treated same as St Mirren were with players available to ICT.

Aren`t medical certificates required to support requests for games to be postponed due to a lack of fit players?

And who would provide that, wee eck?
You can tell a doctor your knee is sore. How does he assess if that’s true or not ?

Mine would examine it, Raymie, and ask me a few questions about it. I don`t think he/she would just accept what I said and I wouldn`t have thought the SPFL would accept what clubs said either without some medical back-up.

I imagine a club doctor will provide medical certificates if the club feels it`s in their best interests for that to happen

Not opposed to any of our games being cancelled and rescheduled for later in January by which time we might have brought a player or 2 in!

The teams we have put out in recent weeks look like they are missing 3-4 first teamers!

Things will be looking up……..now yogi is gone!

Queens Park v Dumbarton game on Boxing Day cancelled because of a covid outbreak in the Dumbarton squad - I’m sure it’s not linked to their Xmas outing to Newcastle

It`s all going off, isn`t it? A number of clubs who were going to get some fans in at short notice are now off the hook.

So the only Boxing Day Championship games still standing are :-

Pars v Arbroath and Hamilton v Killie. I fully expect one of these fixtures to fall foul of Covid.

Watch this space.....

It makes you wonder how a part time team like Arbroath, whose players are out in the general community working, can keep a cap on Covid infections?

Dick Campbell and Ian, his son, were waiting on a lift last Saturday in Main St. Lochgelly, Dick had his Arbroath dug out jacket on, so he certainly wasn`t isolating.

Dick supposed to be absent today, according to Arbroath official twitter, was in dugout though!

"Arbroath welcome back Thomas O`Brien, Michael McKenna, David Gold, Luke Donnelly and Calum Antell and Assistant Manager Ian Campbell but are without Dale Hilson, James Craigen and Manager Dick Campbell"

after today i think Inverness will be doing whatever they can to get enough players ready for Wednesday.
