Dunfermline are considering a move for Aaron Taylor-Sinclair.
The full-back has been training with John Hughes’ side.
The 30-year-old has been a free agent since he left Livingston in the summer.
The Fifers boss is looking to strengthen his squad for a play-off push in the second half of the season.
The full-back has a wealth of experience from his time at Partick Thistle, Wigan, Doncaster, Plymouth, Motherwell and Crewe.

I love it when we go sell Kevin Nisbet,
He's gonna pay for everyone this season.

A full back with very few games over the last 3 seasons? I hope there are more exciting names to come - preferably in midfield (and goalkeeper).

Left back so if he is free and within our wage bracket wouldn`t be the worst signing by a long way.

Would be a decent signing, but we really need centre mids as top priority

We`ve no real cover at left back. Just because we`re looking at him doesn`t mean we`re not looking at other positions.

We’ve got Edwards and McDonald who can play left back, I’d say there is other positions badly needing strengthened before that

If he is fit, he would be a great signing, however like others have said, midfield has got to be the priority. Unless Yogi is getting a war chest to replace the players simply not good enough for us a la Edwards, MacDonald

John Hughes is set to make a decision on Dunfermline trialist Aaron Taylor-Sinclair by the end of this week.
The former Motherwell and Partick Thistle defender is currently training with the Pars as he seeks to earn a deal.
Taylor-Sinclair, 30, has been without a club since leaving Livingston last summer, albeit he did spend a period on trial with Southend during the close season.
He has lined up in behind closed doors clashes against Livi and Falkirk recently, with Hughes impressed by his versatility, experience and improving fitness levels.
However, the Pars boss stopped short of guaranteeing that there will be a contract offer for the Antigua and Barbuda internationalist.
“Aaron still has to get his fitness levels up,” said Hughes. “He has played a couple of practice matches for us.
“He has the experience we might need. We’ll look at him over the next week or so and make that decision.
“It’s all spinning plates. Aaron can play in a number of positions, left centre-half, and played one up [midfield] against Livingston.
“You can see he is starting to settle and find his legs and fitness. It’s one we’ll look at.
“A lot of it is about timing.
“But everyone can see that we need a hand because we need to be better than we were against Arbroath.”

MacDonald has been primarily playing midfield, even though he can cover I think Hughes prefers him further up.
Good signing this, spoke to a few pals who are Livi fans and the report was `nothing out there and always solid`
C'mon Ye Pars!

"Falkirk head coach Martin Rennie is keen on making Aaron Taylor-Sinclair his first signing.
The experienced defender had been training with Dunfermline.
The Bairns however are keen to land him and are in talks over a contract.
It remains to be seen if the Pars will make a rival offer.
Falkirk look to be in the driving seat to land the former Motherwell, Partick Thistle and Motherwell star.
Head coach Rennie has money to spend in a bid to get his side back in the League One promotion race"

Surprised at that but I`d imagine we held off offering him a contract. Perhaps that means Maxwell is likely to come to us.

I imagine if he`d been significantly better than what we had we would`ve made him an offer, still think the main concern is central midfield where we need to improve the most

How long did he sign on for? They might have offered more security vs. a deal to the end of the season for us. Don`t think its the most pressing area where we needed players in so it`s not a disaster.

We have greater issues in mid field that need addressing, full backs are the least of our issues.
Money needs to be spent further up the pitch.
