One positive is that we will get to see Lawless making a start today. A player who on his day will make a massive difference and create something out of nothing. Hopefully we can announce this other signing (if rumours are true) before the game also.

Our two performances against the wee team this season have been alright. I reckon we’ll sneak a dodgy 2-1. 2022 is where everything gets better!

It`s a derby game so anything can happen , Form is out the window normally
As long as we don`t give away our customary early goal we will have Half a chance, But we really need to stop making simple mistakes or players switching off or passing to the opposition and making it easy for them , and up front we need to start this year by carving out more chances and having a shot or two ( you cannot score if you do not shoot)or being a bit braver and taking defenders on to try and create something of course we need our midfield to help chip in here too ( our weak link )
I am normally a positive person and to date I haven`t got one score prediction right I have been brought down to earth too many times this year with our unpredictable performances ,so I will predict we will get beat !! so hoping my run of not picking the right result continues !!

If the BBC stats are right both clubs have taken 7 points from their last 5 games.

Just thinking aloud - could these games not be played earlier in the day at New Year, especially on a Sunday ?

Hopefully Lewis Martin will show how good he is if and when he gets on.
