Named Ayr United manager. Could be a decent appointment that. Coached Sheffield Wednesday for almost a decade and is very highly thought off, I wonder if he was one who applied for the job back in the summer.

I`m sure he`s a lovely guy and he was a whole-hearted and probably underrated player for the Pars but I`d draw the line at wishing the manager of one of our rivals good luck!

Were LB the manager of a different club then I too would wish him well - however, given where we and Ayr are in our league then I hope Bullen has a very poor season (nothing personal and I’m certain the guy himself will understand this).

Exactly. A total gamble by them (as they all are) and I`m scratching my head at folk who would have had him here. Great player undoubtedly but good manager? I`ve no idea

I just hope Ayr go down and we stay up. I hope we absolutely pump them. I’ve no time for sentiment when our situation is so precarious. Love bully to bits and I’ll never forget all the good days but in the here and now they are rivals in the battle to stay up.
