pic at the end shows who was playing.
unknown keeper (presume the oldest in the academy?), Jones, Martin, Breen, Fenton, Thomas, Allan, Cole, McCann, Todd, Todorov. 3 academy kids as subs.

And here i was wondering why Yogi doesn`t use our bench for subs very often. This might be the reason.

Totally forgot about Cole.
We have so many central midfielders!

Watched the goals, 3rd was a pen, goals 1 and 2 were so easy.
What a bad pool of players we have the now.

You`d think a strong line up like that would give the US Naval Academy a game! First and second goals were shocking - regardless of whether it`s a friendly.
We badly need a clear out next season, regardless of what division we`re in.

Yeah, that`s what I was getting at. I think he was getting a scan last week but presumably there`s still a problem with his injury (not sure what it is).

John Hughes said he was booked for a scan last week but the machine was broken and he was having to go back this week.
Add that to the extensive list of things that have gone against us this season...

Update on Kamwa`s injury is on COWS. Scan confirmed recurrence of an old foot/ankle injury and he returned to Leeds for treatment but they`re hopeful he`ll soon be back up here.
One of the subs in the game against US Naval Academy was Son of Andy Tod, Andrew jnr!

I note the Academy beat Morton reserves 4-2 the other day. It`s difficult to judge on 2 minutes of highlights on a reserve game (particularly when some of these players are playing almost no proper football).

Used to arrange and play many navy teams when i worked in the dockyard ,We had a pretty good team with a number of junior players in our team .I always found there were some really good players ,some were easily capable of playing jnr or senior football

Certainly wasn`t plain sailing with the defence being found lost at sea for the second goal.
