Looking at his Instagram it seems he is in Dubai right now. Strange timing to be allowed a holiday? Not trying to make up any unwanted negativity but with Alexander not available over the weekend the question has to be asked why this is being allowed?

You`d have thought thats the scenario where by you`d be looking at a mutual termination.
Miles out of the picture even before Hughes signed all those midfielders; realistically he is not likely to play for us again is he?

-He came off the bench at the weekend and started the Killie game in February.
If the club have allowed a holiday at the most pivotal time since administration particularly in covid times, it just about sums up the off the pitch decisions in this 5hitshow of a season. The last game of the season is 4 weeks tomorrow.

According to the interview with Joe Chalmers on COWS the players were given Wed and Thurs off this week. Does it really make sense to go to Dubai for a two-day break?

They probably have Saturday and Sunday off on top of that. A small break before the final push could just be what the players need and overall a good idea I think. Where they go and what they do for that break is up to them. The board can`t say where you take your holidays. These people are as free as anyone else to do what they want in their own time.

I`m not questioning the players` rights to do what they like on their time off but how much would a two-day break in Dubai cost? Would it represent value for money? Btw, the players are training on Fri and Sat.

Wee Eck
The cost and value for money is surely up to the people who are going there .They may have a specific reason to go only for a few days ,say engagement ,wedding or simply to unwind ,

Al, as I said, the players can spend their time off how they like. I was simply questioning whether it was likely one of our players would choose to spend a two-day break in Dubai. As it turns out it seems he wasn`t there at all!

Giving players time off to reset sounds pretty reasonable tbh. At this stage of the season you`ll be keeping the players ticking over with regards to fitness, you certainly don`t want to be hammering them.
With that then the training week will primarily be recovery and preparing the team for upcoming fixtures, giving them a few days off sounds like the absolute correct thing to do. A four day weekend would`ve been good IMO

Strangely enough, a couple of years ago I seen The Pars on-loan Norwich winger, Josh Coley, coming out of the very same shop and said "surely your getting some Coley?"
"some what?" he said

Big things were expected of him at Brentford at one point, the club improved at such a rate though they outstripped Cole.
It`s been a problem with the B team a bit.
