He just keeps on scoring, wished he was still at the club

Nothing to suggest if he was still here and at this level he would be scoring so regularly. We let him go as he had a good 2 months then his form fell off a cliff for the other 2 and a half years.

Seems taking the step down and getting a regular game has really brought him on though.

Wouldn’t want to face him or airdrie if we end up in the playoffs!

Things will be looking up……..now yogi is gone!

The drop down seems to have really helped him

Saw Airdrie earlier this season and i think both Gallagher and Smith scored but Dylan Easton was the main man.

Everything ran through him, looked a cracking player.

My recollection of Callum Smith was that he was dropped when Nicky Clark became fit ….. to my recollection Clark didn’t exactly set the heather alight on his return.

At the time my feelings were that Smith was pretty hard done by.

My enduring memory was the goal he scored against ICT, when we won 5-1. Smith chased, and collected, the ball he won in the air from the goalies punt up the park; he then ran on toward the 18-yard box and struck a superb shot into the net.

No surprise he’s developing into a very decent player.

I quite liked him, wasn`t prepared to just sit on the bench and he`s now played 151 games scoring 28 goals across Premiership, Championship and League One. Lot of experience for a young guy. He will find his level soon

I see his younger brother, Connor, is currently at Queen`s Park on loan from Hearts.

Callum Smith was a player that ran about a lot, gave his all, but didn`t score very often. Basically a less gifted Declan McManus.

Obviously he could develop and I hope he has. But League two is a prime division to get goals if you are able to be quick enough to get away from the slower defenders.

I thought he was hard done by at east end. A lot of strikers need to be playing every week, he wasn’t getting that. Felt for him and was sorry to see him leave because the boy has a real player in him and you could see that.

At least get the league he plays in correct.
