For the ignorant amongst us - what or who is Small Meggle ?
Sounds like a lesser form of some affliction.

Small is the size, Meggle is the name of the interviewee, and one of our German investors.

Decent little interview, cheers for posting, Grant. Interesting that he mentions patience and a 8 to 9 year plan, it`s good they are thinking about a long term, sustainable project, structured growth rather than just flinging money at getting us promoted.
Bit of a pity that an article in BILD mentions RM being spat on, not a great image for Pars fans. It would be interesting to see the person that did that named and shamed

It`s reassuring to learn our investors have no intention of pulling out if the unthinkable were to happen.....
Of course they could change their minds, but I don`t think Meggle would have specifically alluded to it in his interview, if they were undecided.
Not your average Sunday League player.

I was actually thinking that with the academy in place, part of the strategy might be to get young players into the first team and get them sold on when there is a bit hype about them. Maybe us dropping a league would help us blood youth quicker. That said, I`m probably searching for a silver lining

Getting relegated would certainly help us blood youngsters quicker but you still need a hard core of experienced players to get out of league 1....just look at the teams that are doing well in that league.
Young players who are attracting interest from other clubs will be sold for a pittance in league 1 and it is fair to say that even good young players in the Championship don`t go for big money.
The only way to make serious cash from having a conveyor belt of good young players is to be in the SPL.
