Can totally understand when Dom leaves us. He’s our best player and has for the most been frozen out by Yogi. I’m still stunned that he didn’t play in either leg just goes to show how stubborn yogi is.Good luck at his next club.

Seems to be a thing with the club when a player decides hes leaving they get frozen out

I heard it was a pre contract for Queen’s Park.
If it’s true and yogi then didn’t trust him enough to still play him what a masterstoke from Queen’s Park.
Things will be looking up……..now yogi is gone!

Normally that wouldn`t bother me as you`re planning for next season. However when you`re still playing to decide what league you`re going to be in, you get your best team out.

Even if he`s signed for the opposition ?

He can go. He might be good on his day but every single player has caused this. None of them have any transfer value. We have no assets. If every player we have was to suddenly resign then we wouldn’t be any worse for it. Good luck in your next job but no real loss.

Why not leave him out the squad & tell everyone why he’s been left out.
He’s a good player but let’s face facts.
He fell out with Crawford, PG & Yogi. He’s not worth the trouble.

Maybe he fell out with Crawford, Grant and Hughes because he was big enough to tell them how crap their tactics were - by far our best player - maybe if we’d played 2 up front and played to his strengths he wouldn’t have signed a pre-contract elsewhere.

Disrupt team harmony? - I have seen no evidence of this - maybe if a few other players had stood up to the management we wouldn’t be in this mess - he’s one of the few players I’ll be sad to see leave.

Don’t beleive for a second he’d refused to train. He was on the bench yesterday after all.
I do think he’s signed up for somewhere else next year. Who would want to stay at the pars under yogi for next year if they were a forward thinking attacking player?

A loss given he was probably our most talented player on his day, however for every great game he would have another 6-7 where he was anonymous or not able to defend/track a man on the wing.
For next season the team really needs a squad of players pulling together and being consistent week in week out which was lacking throughout the year. That`s what it takes to get out of league 1, a lot to ask to build that squad harmony over the summer, clearly need to move away from signing the Scottish football has beens like Dorrans, Polworth, Chalmers, Ambrose etc.
Find some ambitious talent in and around the Scottish leagues, sprinkled with the right kind of character veterans who want to come in and lead younger players. The League 1 winning team a few years ago had guys like Falkingham, FEB, Geggan, Murdoch, Cardle etc. Good players who also had heart and pride in every game they played.

Agree with that da no 1, I have no idea how you can keep Hughes on after what he`s shown since he`s been here. Seems to alienate certain players and play his favourites regardless of their performances. Hopefully get the news that`s he`s gone today or tomorrow and work can be done straight away to rectify the run of bad managers and build a league 1 winning squad

Thomas was easily our best player. To have him under grant and Hughes sit on a bench is criminal, under grant he even played cm at times ???
That aside if he has signed for queens then it’s more understandable for Hughes but if I remember correctly then he’s been benched quite a bit lately under hughes.

Difference for me was that even when Dom was having a poor game he could still pop up with an assist or a goal or even a good ball into the box. There is no one else in the team who seems capable of going that.
He had double the goals and assists of Dow who quite frankly has been an empty shirt all season.
Assists
Dorrans 1 from 19 games
Dow 2 from 30 games
Lawless 1 from 18 games
Polworth 1 from 9 games
Chalmers 0 from 14 games
Pybus 2 from 32 games
Allan 0 from 13 games
Dom 5 assists from 25 games.
Pretty clear to see where the problem was and how yogi made it worse.
Things will be looking up……..now yogi is gone!

So lazy to put Thomas in the “one good game in 12” bracket. Absolute nonsense. He hasn’t played much the season but I can count on one hand games he hasn’t affected, the attitude thing as well is based on nothing from what I can see. Every time I’ve watched him warming up when he’s been benched I’ve never once looked at his body language and thought he doesn’t look up for it, can’t say the same for many a player in this team

I think Dom has been one of our better players and it’s sour grapes to try and diminish the impact he had on games. He’s our best player this season by a mile.
In terms of goals from midfield, assists, moving the ball forward by running with it, creating chances nobody else in that squad comes close.
I’ll miss him. I understand why he chose to take his career elsewhere, this club is a basket case.
