Anybody caught these on Youtube yet?
The ref must have a few extra quid in his pockets after that display.
1. Extremely rash red card after half an hour for two run of the mill fouls in midfield. (The second with almost no contact from what I can see.)
2. 1st Goal the Ref claims the ball has crossed the line when it had not.
3. 2nd Goal was a Penalty that was either a goal kick or free kick to cowdenbeath.
I also thought the refs decesion to send off Efe Ambrose in our game was incorrect too. We had another defender closer to the goal and far more central.
Their season seems to have mirrored ours in many ways but was even worse.

I see ex-Par Kerr Young was playing for Bonnyrigg. Is the Andrew Barrowman who plays for Cowden related to ex-Par Andy Barrowman?

Second foul wasn’t a yellow card offence. I do think the full ball crossed the line tho.

1st didnt cross the line? did you watch the highlights with your eyes closed?
1st yellow was a stick on, 2nd is a late lunge, in isolation maybe a tad harsh but if there were 2/3 fouls from same player in between then would have no excuses.

All of the ball. All of the line. It’s not over .

Looked over the line, cowden players didn’t protest whatsoever which tells its own story. First tackle is a definite yellow, second is harsh. Penalty is one of the most bizarre decisions I’ve ever seen.. 999/1000 a ref will give a goal kick there.

Looks over from the video. There’s a still photo on the Edinburgh news site that also shows that it was definitely over.

Is it not the linesman’s call to indicate if the ball has crossed the goal line ?
