Has the Polish keeper not returned south?

Didn`t realise Lawless was our player to release !
Thought Dow could still do job, must always be hard hitting the ground running after a serious injury like that midway through the year without a preseason behind you but such is life.

I think despite concerns from the home front, we will be favourites to win the title. If not - not far off.
Surely this will attract some of the better players available.
Why worry about who is leaving.

Not overly fussed about any of them leaving. Lawless was a massive disappointment. I thought he`d run riot when he signed for us. Definitely not the player I remember a few years ago. Pybus was a hard worker and never stopped all game but he was the best of an awful bunch. I would have been chuffed to see him stay but I get the impression McPake has a few players in mind who will be an upgrade to the team. I`m excited to see who we bring in in the next few weeks.
I hope he manages to get a few that are still in contract out the door also.

Feel a bit for Lewis Martin given his luck,if he chooses to carry on he`ll be good cover for someone.

Fine with them all leaving. I’m sure others have been/will be told they’re free to leave - if anyone wants them.
After 10 years at the club, I think Lewis Martin deserves a bit more than just his name mentioned in a list of released players. He made his debut in the 2012-13 season, been through all the highs and lows during/since admin. A wee appreciation post/article would have been fitting, in my opinion. Hopefully he can get himself fit and get his career back on track.

I hope a few who are still under contract are persuaded to leave too.
Thomas is the only player who’s contract expired I’d have wanted to retain.
Hopefully get some decent players coming in soon.

I’d agree with RossF about lawless btw, shadow of the player he was a few years ago. Was buzzing when we signed him. Big let down.

^^ only if they get creative as ive said a couple of times, if its the same old championship/league 1 faces then no really.
no surprises all of the out of contract players have gone, now the focus will be signings and the rest of the squad with who is and isnt wanted, the problem with the latter will be can we actually get them away.

Yip McPake must have lots of tricks up his sleeves.

Players released didn’t warrant new contracts.
Clear out was required, no time for sentiment.

Happy Dow is going, looked way of it last season even once back to fitness and contributed next to nothing for a ‘winger’. sure he’ll get another club though.
I don’t feel for Lewis Martin, best part of 10 years at the pars and he only played 122 games, can consider himself lucky to be kept on a couple of times over the years. I know he’s a local lad etc but still…
Lawless has a few good games then got sucked into yogi ultra defensive tactics so instead of trying to do anything with the ball he inevitably took the east option and rolled it back. Polworth was a waste of a shirt.
Things will be looking up……..now yogi is gone!

As was Chalmers. A whole new midfield required. With Dom,Dow and Lawless width is also required.

All these guys can put relegation behind them and make a fresh start. We fans on the other hand have to deal with the aftermath.
