Cracking first game against a team who seem to be constantly on the up for a good few years now!

Things will be looking up……..now yogi is gone!

Cove might be looking on this as a gentle warm-up for the tougher matches ahead ...

Wasn`t James McPake a player at Dundee when Paul Hartley was manager there?

Never understand why we play friendlies away to higher league opposition. Confidence buster surely.

Are we not better playing a team that we should best easily? Score a few goals and build confidence.. Teams like…… ? Seriously, are there any ?

Friendlies are for fitness and it is important to test yourself against strong opposition whether we win lose or draw it doesn`t really matter

So if we don`t play higher league opposition, and then a lower league opponent decides that they`re doing the same, what do you propose? Playing the teams in the same league we`re already going to be playing 4 times anyway?!?!

I suspect we might have a few trialists playing so best to see them in action against a good well organised club to see how they get on.

McPake is good friends with Hartley so it`s an easy one to get organised.
