Never understand why we play friendlies away to higher league opposition. Confidence buster surely.

Friendlies are for fitness and it is important to test yourself against strong opposition whether we win lose or draw it doesn`t really matter

So if we don`t play higher league opposition, and then a lower league opponent decides that they`re doing the same, what do you propose? Playing the teams in the same league we`re already going to be playing 4 times anyway?!?!
