Just seen something in an ex pro football football forum on Facebook that might be worth a chat.
It asked how some clubs get their names Morton, Albion Rovers, etc.
One of the contributors added his University medical team were called Rigor Morton which made me chuckle.
So any good names of football clubs you have been involved in, or maybe if you know the answers to the serious question posed?

When Parscelona (the original and best Pars Internes supporter`s team) were a thing we played a few with decent names. Inter Ma Lamb was probably the pick of the bunch.

Peru has a team called Deportivo Wanka.
I think it might be Botswana that has a team called Miscellaneous FC, one called Naughty Boys and another called Golden Bush.

Once went to a South African game with Kaizer Chiefs v. Orlando Pirates
Great names.
They are the Old Firm of South Africa
Luckily got to do the first part of a Kaizer Chiefs training session in my first week in SA in 1980 leaving when they started practicing set pieces. When I was player coach with Pilanesberg in then Bophutatswana (and had a giant killing victory in their main Castle cup competition) our best player had previously played at a decent level for āDangerous Darkiesā who once were a good top level team. Unlike the Old Firm Chiefs and Pirates fans can sit together and have healthy banter with little trouble. I have been to a Maritzburg United vs Kaizer Chiefs match when there was a Pirates fan wearing a Pirates shirt supporting Maritzburg that day sitting next to a Chiefs fan in a Chiefs shirt with no trouble. That is the equivalent of a Rangers fan with Rangers top in the Celtic area of Parkhead and supporting whoever Celtic were playing against and just having banter with the Celtic fans and Vicās-versa. Pirates and Chiefs are huge clubs with massive following all over SA.
