I wouldn`t call him an impostor, but he clearly is the kind of player who has an on/off switch and you have no idea what you are going to get. There is maybe a coach out there who can get some consistency from him, but he is 29 now so time is running out.

Mino Raiola was the toughest of agents. He had some "stable" of top managers and players. He must have been a nightmare for club Presidents/Chairmen/CEOs to deal with.
Ruthless doesn`t begin to describe him. Pogba was allegedly offered a new contract of £500k a week recently. Man U thought they could then sell him for decent fee and recoup at least a part of the £90m they shelled out for him. He turned it down......
That`s not the end of the story. Other players in the squad heard about the offer (I wonder how? 🤔) and have been demanding why a player who doesn`t even start games regularly, can be offered more than double what they earn. He`s been apparently been negotiating a move back to Juve but nothing`s been signed yet. He`ll not be offered anything like £500k, that`s for sure.
Not your average Sunday League player.

Didn’t Juventus give Aaron Ramsey a ridiculous contract for around £400k per week when he was a free agent?

I don`t know about Ramsay, par-91, but Juve trimmed their wage bill drastically last season. CR7`s departure alone saved them a whopping €30m a year. The highest earners at the club this past season were de Licht (€8m) and Dybala (€7.3m.)
I can`t see them completely destroying their price structure for Pogba, given they were lucky to scrape into Serie A`s final CL place.
Not your average Sunday League player.

My claim to fame was that a few years back I was offered his car in a sale.
He left Italy so fast he left his right hand drive mini behind.
Eventually someone drove it to Manchester for the club to give to a player as part of their signing on agreement.
More money than sense!
