....are keeping the strips from last season to avoid supporters having to fork out even more money in the current climate.
Appreciate everyone has the option not to buy it but good to see their stance in that it saves parents having to fork out for their kids to always get a new strip every season.

Good for them. I admire their stance on that. And especially for the low income families.

It`d be nice if more clubs did this. The only down side would be when we get an absolutely rank strip and have to keep it for a couple of seasons.

Excellent. Perhaps our club can do something with the price of strips this year, even link to season tickets with top for £20 for every U21 season ticket holder or something similar.

From an environmental and sustainability point of view, having a new strip, away strip, 3rd strip, training top, warm up top, European warm up top ( yep, Man City had one of them) not to mention about 20 other things, is ridiculous anyway.

I believe a team should rotate the years
2022 - New Home - keep away
2023 - New Away - keep home
2024 - New Home - keep away
and so on

Yep, good in theory. I`m sure that`s what we did in the 80s but it only works if you have consistency with kit provider and shirt sponsor.

It might be worth somebody asking the CEO next Wednesday about this.
EG What would be the financial effect on DAFC of keeping the home and/or away strip for a second year, as opposed to the obvious environmental benefit of reducing consumption and waste?
