Dunfermline Athletic Disabled Supporters` Club (DADSC) is delighted to have been awarded £1000 in the Benefact Group`s "Movement for Good" June draw. Many thanks to all who nominated DADSC in response to our Facebook posts - perhaps it was your nomination that was the successful one! This award will greatly help the DADSC fund to get access to the 1st Floor at EEP for wheelchair users and other people with mobility problems.
Further draws will take place in September and December, and DADSC is still eligible to enter these - it`s a random draw so the more nominations a charity receives, the greater its chance of winning. Please increase DADSC`s chances by spending 2 minutes completing THIS NOMINATION FORM (already partly filled in with DADSC`s details):
For information, Benefact Group is an independent, specialist financial services group that gives all its available profits to charity. It is the fourth-largest corporate donor to charity in the UK, and has donated over £100m to charity since 2016, aiming to reach £250m by 2025. Find out more here: http://www.benefactgroup.com

That`s a great boost to the fund! I am sure you will have said somewhere else but how much still needs to be raised?

I’ll be making a similar donation in a few weeks’ time, courtesy of the .net mobile apps. When Gift Aid is claimed, it will make it a £1250 donation.

Absolutely fantastic, MD! You and dafc.net have been great supporters of DADSC over the years and we are really grateful and appreciative. Thank you.
Remember that Gift Aid is only claimable by a charity if the donation is made by an individual (ie not corporate) UK taxpayer.

When we started fundraising we set a target of £55k, based on estimated costs at the time.
So far we have £46k in the bank, with several irons in the fire which should generate more revenue. However, costs of any solution will have increased and are likely to increase further with future inflation, so we need to press on with fundraising. And as inflation rates rise we may also have to take action to preserve as best we can the real value of our current funds.
For only £5 pa you can become a paid-up member of DADSC, and (as well as a warm, fuzzy feeling of doing good) you`ll receive a Monthly Bulletin giving all the latest information. You can sign up online HERE

No problem, Stanza, it’s a worthy cause and will provide a lasting legacy for generations to come. Also, the donation will be made by me in a personal capacity, so Gift Aid will be claimable - I can download the form from the DAFC web site.
