Awesome. Not an easy place to visit. Shieldsy is doing what he does best. Great that he’s head of the academy.

Some very nice goals..
The 2nd goal was very well worked, playing out from the back leading to a goal.
The wide players look like they have a good amount of pace too

Eck, thanks for pointing that out.
Lot of good things to see if you haven`t watched. Good composure on the ball, good unselfish play and good pressure at the right time. There`s talent in that team, but you can also see that they are well coached.

No problem, Mac. We need as many straws as possible to clutch at! I don`t know if the team included any of the young lads who have been on the bench for the first team recently.

Young, Beagley,Tod and Rennie started.Tod was an early sub hence why he wasn`t included on saturday and I belive Young played the full game before having to provide the defensive cover from the bench for the first XI the following day.

One to watch in the academy is Connolly Adamson from Cowdenbeath.
Big strong midfielder and a powerhouse. He about 6ft 13 and he`s only 15-16yrs.

7 ft 1 then?

6ft 13! sounds like he should be playing for Dunfermline Reign rather than Dunfermline Athletic

Since they beat Ross County 6-1 at Dingwall at the start of August nothing much has been heard of the under 18s. A quick check of the `Fixtures` section on COWS reveals that since then they have drawn 1-1 with Killie and lost 4-5 to ICT at home and beaten both Dundee and Livi 1-0 away. I can`t find any details of teams, scorers, etc though.

I think Tod scored the winners against both Dundee and Livi. Both by taking it round the goalkeeper. He shared a clip of one (against Dundee I think?) on social media.
