I’ve noticed a few things haven’t come through - bizarre since I typed them in.
However the bits that are missing:
Q - re the bottle banks in legends to reduce time served
A - David Cook advised they weren’t a success at other clubs he’s been involved with (Margaret, our hospitality manager) agreed that when we had tried them before it made no difference to the time being served; that they weren’t used as much as people said they would be either.
Dougie made us all laugh when he said the one in CharlieDs wasn’t a success and James McPake asked him what game it was to which the reply was “I cannae mind I was pIshed” 😂 (I love Shoo!)
Q - re the Schools Initiative Programme - when is it restarting?
A - David - need to get dates in the diary; a lot of projects on the go; the people involved will be contacted when we can arrange it all. We’d like 8/9 year olds’ first team they go to is the Pars and not join the swathes of fans heading to Glasgow on buses every weekend.
Q - did any fans have a say in the renaming of the stadium?
A - Iain Jones, the MD of the KDM Group, is a huge Pars fan. He was adamant the original name of East End Park would remain in the new name (this was also part of the deal with us) and said he’d never in a million years change that. The sponsorship deal is for 5 years.
For those of you there that have more to add please do so.
It was very warm in the Purvis Suite and I felt quite lightheaded at times and this is the reason I didn’t pick up everything said tonight. Apologies for this.

No signing confirmed tonight. Apparently a loan deal on the table for a premier league player. They were due to sign Thursday, changed their mind but the deal remains an option.
Other than that, McPake said that hopefully in a few weeks the training pitch will look different with a few new additions.
On signings. McPake said he was to blame and not the board for lack of signings. Said every player he has gone to the board with has been approved. And the board have budgets. He just wants the right player.

If I remember rightly. McPake was just saying he gave him his debut etc. I maybe picked it up wrong but that’s what I took from it.

James McPake can blether for Scotland. I simply couldn’t keep up with him. He also has a tendency to revert back to his Dundee days so things get lost in translation imo. He jumps back and forth between then and now.
FYI
If anyone has any problems viewing the meeting / match updates I’d rather you put it on THIS forum. No point in having a pop at me / the format on another forum (where I can’t post a reply).

Thanks Buffy. And apologies for a sh1tty bit of UI design in not making it obvious that you need to swipe left to bring the actual updates into view. There should also be a button to take you there. I’ll improve this area next time I need to do an update.
P.a. At least with the iPhone version I’ve put a message at the top of the screen describing how to get to the updates!
