Absolutely, put your mortgage on it.

A wee back up bet of Morton away just in case.

Buckie Thistle away, we seem to attract Buckie as well as Alloa.

What a cracking tie that will be.

I haven`t been this thrilled since the time I wore a woolen jumper, washed my hands and got one of the cuffs soaking wet...

How many stands should we give them?

At a minimum, they should get the North-East, the East and South East.

This will be the first opportunity for many Fife-based Celtic fans to see their team in the flesh, rather than on a stolen telly.

What were the criteria for deciding which of last season`s League Two sides don`t take part?

Stenhousemuir, Stranraer, Stirling Albion, Albion Rovers and Cowdenbeath are all missing - Cowden presumably because they were relegated, but the other four clubs finished higher than Elgin City, who ARE included.

This is the third round. All those teams were knocked out in one of the first two rounds.

They are a very decent side, 2 big centre halves with inverted full backs and 2 incredibly skillful wide players.

Watched them in the last round against Livingston and it could have been about 8 or 9.

Won`t be a walkover that`s for sure.

C'mon Ye Pars!

Hopefully we will also put our b team out, it`s a diddy cup anyway. Some of these b teams seem to be picking up some results now, I wouldn`t fancy seeing us on the end of a thrashing off some mobs b team

I haven`t attended a Challenge Cup game in about 20 years (not even when we reached the final). Joke of a competition.

I would rather go to a bounce game against Rosyth at the fleet grounds.

I`d have went to this game if it was a real team. No interest in it bring a B team though. Hopefully more feel the same. A decent crowd at this and the SFA and SPFL will attempt to use it as justification for allowing them into the League.

The thought of witnessing us and paying for the privilege.. to be humiliated by one of the bigot brothers` B team is truly horrifying.

Total ruin of a game for us. Tiny crowd at a time we need all the income we can get. Hopefully we pump them, no injuries and move on.

The “SPFL Trust Trophy” is a name that actually gives the competition a whiff of credence. But it is still the diddy cup and would rather it was named to reflect its diddyness. The Tunnocks caramel wafer trophy was an ideal name for this reason.

If the younger Scotland teams are playing that weekend then the Celtic B team will be made up of even younger players.

They just bring in other youth players. It happens at every international break.

I think the B is simply an alternative to Colts?

Back when football was a beautiful game they would’ve been called the Reserves; Celtic Reserves, Hearts Reserves, Dunfermline Reserves etc (and they all played in the Reserve League - generally meant you could’ve gone to East End Park every Saturday, as whoever Pars were playing away from home the Reserve team would be playing at home - although the reserve league might‘ve had an east/west sort of setup?).

Nowadays when you need a Premiership, a Championship etc it seems we need to make up all sorts of suitable designations to help with the marketing.

Not sure on the rules but with no Celtic first team game and a few of their youngsters being with national youth team sides could they play a significant number of the non-international first team players?

On pricing I’d be disappointed in charging season ticket holders more than a fiver? (Could also apply to away fans to entice a few more away fans in?). An earlier kick off time to save on floodlights and give people who are going time to get to Hampden afterwards would also be useful.

There was no split Gadgie and they were often decent games. I used to go to EEP every week as a kid, before I was allowed to start going to away games. There was no great gulf to the OF reserve teams either. I remember a big crowd at EEP to watch the 2nd leg of the reserve league cup final v Celtic. We were feeling confident after getting a draw at Parkhead. Celtic`s reserves featured the so-called Quality Street Gang - Kenny Dalglish, Lou Macari, Danny McGrain, Davie Hay, George Connolly and Paul Wilson. They all went on to become full internationals and they just edged out the Pars reserves 4-3.

Not your average Sunday League player.

I`m the opposite - I want us to charge £40 a time (no concessions) to discourage folk as much as possible.
