Given he was an absolute stand out at the top end of the championship for Inverness last season I think we can rule that one out.

He`s obviously trying to get boys who are more than capable of playing top end of championship knowing these are the guys who can win us the league, but they`re also the guys who will get better offers from teams higher than us. But I`d still rather McPake tried this than bringing in meh players, hopefully he manages to bag one or two.

Can’t see it as was a standout for ICT on loan last year. Surprised he hasn’t been loaned out already by United tho. Be some bit of business if true.

he is a striker right ? One of ours will have to be moved out I would think he we got him ?
Surprise Utd would agree to any loan move when they don`t have a first team coach just now, that usually puts these deals on the back burner

and if he doesnt, what then? you have to find the balance between trying to get the best you can and how long you wait before moving to the best available, McPake said something similar weeks ago yet we are no further forward.
as for one of the strikers moving on, its in the Press Wighton has seen a specialist about his knee with no timescale on his return. Chalmers can play up front but is more of a wide player id say, id give this one more of a chance than the Stephen Kelly one though.

We were (in the managers words) a couple injury`s away from a real problem, since then wighton and Alan have been ruled out long term...

I thought the prognosis for Allan was 4 weeks and it`s 4 weeks since he was injured? Also, Dorrans was said to be in the final stages of rehabilitation at last week`s supporters` meeting.

GJS93 it`s gonna be a fingers crossed job for most if not the rest of the season mate.
