Bringing this back to the top, as today is World Suicide Prevention Day and probably the main focus of the week. I`m very pleased to see DAFC being represented locally on these issues.
Marking the day on 10th September is something the International Association for Suicide Prevention has done for some time, and it`s a very good thing that it`s had much better publicity in the last few years. Some decent stuff here that`s worth a look through:

Thoughts of suicide are not weird or unusual - they`re very common, and there will be users of this small forum that have had these thoughts within the last year. Perhaps not all suicides are preventable but some certainly are. If you`re in a position to look for support or to try to give that support to someone else, it`s surely worth a try.
